POEM: Scrutiny

Postby seekinghga » Tue Aug 07, 2018 3:43 am

Before the Sun chose to overtake
Our lives, our life, He can't relate,
He made a water all steaming blue,
I can't believe I haven't thought of you....

Symbolism, I love the might
Of what blossoms there after the dawn of night.
Full stature, statues gain height...

I love you after the end of night.
Dig your dagger into the struggled flight
As you dig into your next delight.
Nothing is lost, nothing right,
As we both stare into this water bright.
Fog upon fog,
We stare yet into this water bright.

I's that I remember;
Emerald colored dream.
I get lost in their stare
When there's nobody home but
Remember to share
The pond where we sit and boil our sight.

Laugh from the skies.
Don't you try to say
You don't remember the cat?
Imagine that.
Her face was adorned
With the treasures.
Rosetta, don't you remember
Why they always bring you along?

Chemical green is a sordid hue.
I feel that my reply would surprise you,
But really it's all just like it's meant to be:
Anger in fine swords, spread at my display.
I could have chosen to mark my tread but
The vision didn't set any limit.
Nothing is going to break the judgment
Except a narrow chance of hope.
"And they that read the book and debated thereon passed into the desolate land of Barren Words. And they that sealed up the book into their blood were the chosen of Adonai, and the Thought of Adonai was a Word and a Deed; and they abode in the Land that the far-off travellers call Naught."

very pretty imagery
reminds me of sitting under a tree
gazing into dew drops hoping to see
how the past and future just might be
Love is the Law.

Thanks. Do the dew drops have anything good? Cool name! :)

I wrote that one roughly 10 years ago... My muse is dried up for the time being. That typically means it's time to retire from the world (by "retire" I mean the mindfully self-induced reclusion from samjna) and meditate. 'Tis the long road I seek. ;)

Dew drops are filled with sugar magnolia
the drink of the gods we call ambrosia
if I drink enough, Ill forget I know ya
and spend my days singing DoReMeFaSoLaTiDa

cant hide my soul by a name once you know me
my words and song make it easy to see
the silly little lass climbing a tree
who is always star struck by your sweet poetry

tis time to retire and gather up what weve sown
the years spin by and our harvest is our own
when we wake from our rest our soul will have grown
and we be ready to redecorate our blessed home
:D
